Soldiers Home For Holidays Two of our soldier boys are home for the holidays. Pet. Wayne Cook son of Mrs. Elsie Cok and was stationed in Kansas and Pvt. Willard Jackson, son of Mr, and :Mrs. Thomas Jackson who was stationed in Fort Jackson, S. C. The boys are looking fi~e and re- ports t'hey like a~my life fine. Mrs. Mary Cogle has :been quite ill again at her home here. Best of luck Mrs. Cogle. Get well soon. Death of Infant Infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Greenwalt died on Saturday morn ing at ~he home of the grandpar ents Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cogle. The child has bee~ lll since birth and was 9 months old. Burial was in Ebeneezer Cemetery in Loud- oun County, Va. Donald ~ackles of Bolivar had charge of the ar- rangements. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cogle end- ed up the butchering of the sea- son on Saturday. Three ~ine hogs were killed. Mr. Paul Staubs of Neersville, Va. was a caller with his bro- ther Vernon and family on Sat- urday evening. Mr. Harold Staubs of Baltimore, Md. spent the weekend with his wife and son Mrs. 'Delma Staubs. Mr. l~rank Staubs is visiting grandchildren in Maltimore, Md. this week.
