It was here that she expanded to travel ball and learned from her head coaches - especial- ly her mother, Mika Vrobel - how to stay lev- el headed and maintain her zen on the court. "[My coaches] have taught me how to stay calm, play smart and not worry about any- thing else; how to just play your game and only your game," Vrobel said. This style of play is not only silently ex- ecuted by Vrobel, but it's on display when site interacts with her teammates as well. It's Clear that she doesn't play for herself, con- st2mtly uplifting her teammates and leading them through all sets regardless of the out- come. "You have to always keep your team mo- tivated; it isn't an individual sport," Vrobel said. "Every time I get a kill I thank my set- ters and passers because it's all of us together. ,We. have a really good relationship this year. W.e all vibe together in ,a happy atmosphere which has helped us work hard to get better eyery day."
