If elected I will do my job with firmness and equality to all. IT IS UP TO YOU, NOW I Please Lake time to study my platfor thoroughly. See for yourself that I merit your support. VOTE FOR AND ELECT ROWLEN E. MORELAND SHERIFF [] [] [] I II I I ~ IIIII WALLACE?. His-and it is Ms American Independ. ent Party is neither American-or Independent. Sure, what he says sounds good. But as Senator Edward Kennedy--the last of the Kennedy brothers-has said, what George Wallace staudv for is the very opposite of What John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy gave their lives for. A vote for Wallace will be more than just a protest. It will be fuel for the flames of hate. George Wallace held no Convention to get his Party's nominat- ion and did not trust anyone else to write his platform. His movement is as close to Hitlerism as this country has ever come: a one-man show, with King George making all the decisions. It needs to be dealt a mortal blow now I I III I []i ~i ~ii IIIIII IIII I I II II IIII I NIXON?. With Spiro Agnew a heartbeat away from the most powerful and important job in the world? Better that you vote for Richard Nixon, in spite of Spiro Agnew, than vote for George Wallace. But remember this: Richard Nixon had an opportunity both as Senator and Vice President to work and vote for all the things he now says he favors, and he worked and voted against them. Which Nixon will go to the White House, it elected? No wonder he refuses to debate Humphrey. He doesn't want you to know he acts and votes one way-and talks another way. I II III I ] I I I . HUMPHREY? With Ed Muskle working with him and backing him up ? As A! Smith once said, "Let's look at the record. These two good men have both been in the front ranks the past two decades fighting and battling for a better America and a better world, oiten against the Nixons and Agnews who now seek to take their place. Hubert Humphrey led the battle for Medi- care, The Peace Corps, armaments reduction, the nuc- lear test ban treaty, human rights and human dignity. You can trust Hubert Humphrey and Edmund Muskie. Both men have been Governors of their state; both men have been Senators. They know what makes govern- ment tick. Hubert Humphrey's first decision upon re- ceiving the nomination was to select Edmund Muskie as the man best qualified to succeed him. Dick Nixon's first decision was to select Spiro Agnew. Bear that in mind when you decide who you want to make decisions for America for the next four years. / [] [] [] [] |
