FOCUS ON ENVIRONMENT: Garden cub members from 42 states completed a five-day intensive training program for environmental education workshop facilitators at Fall Creek Falls State Park near Pikeville, Tenn., this past August. The program was conducted by the National Council of State Garden Clubs, 'NCSGC', and co-sponsored by Shell Oil Company and In- ternational Paper Company. Attending from Charles Town was Mrs. C. Manning Smith. The 75 participants will work within the NCSGC's eight regions, teaching others the skills necessary to successfully conduct workshops in environmental education. National Council President, Mrs. William J. Hedley, called the program "a needed step toward balance in consideration of environmental issues.
