Pinafore' .will open at the Old Opera House as the first show of the 78-79 Civic Season, for a five- day run beginning October 25. "tt.MS. Pinafore" is being directed by Jay Stenger of Shepherd College. Among past Old Opera House productions Prof. Stenger has been musical director of "My Fair Lady", "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," and "The Fantasticks." "H.M.S. Pinafore" takes place during the 1890's, ialotting several shipboard romances.
