At the annual livestock auction, the animal was purchased by Barnhart's Supermarket for $3.15 a pound, bringing an overall price of $3,808.35.  rAl COUNTY FAIR Heather Moler's entry in the market steer division of the Jefferson County Fair earned champion small frame honors and was pur- chased by Apache Mobile Homes for $2,113.10. !  r"RSON COUIY FAIR  '.'RSON COUIY FAiR Reserve champion small frame steer was shown by J.J. Chapman and, at the annual auc- tion, brought $1,304.40, the bid of Browning's Foudland of the Charles Town Plaza. "SgN The Whitmore Lumber Company of Charles Town was the purchaser of the Jefferson County Fair's overall reserve grand champion market steer. At auction, the animal brouoght $3.00 a pound, a total of $3,567.00 for owner Mary Margaret Mickey. # Mr. and Mrs. Bob Funk of Peaceful Valley Farm purchased Ryan Aivarez' market steer for $1,118.88. The Magaha Electric Company was top bid- der, at $1,694.42. for Rodney Wolfe's market steer. Denny's Restaurant, Route 340 east of Charles Town, purchased David Cogle's market steer for $I,703.75. Glen Dawson's market steer was bought for $1,048.60 by Southern States Petroleum, of Mar- tinsburg.  RSOII COIJt FAIR The Community Oil Company of Charles Town and Martinsburg purchased Jason Burns' market steer for $1,409.20. Bob Snyder, State Farm Insurance. and Rocky's Auto Service, combined to pay $1,389.,) for John Bailenger's market steer. The Willard Chemical Company bid $1,662.50 and purchased Nicole Wysong's market steer. Wilt's High Performance Speed Shop acquired April Ware's market steer for $1,178.10. Farmers and Mechanics Insurance Company purchased Steve Carroll's market steer for $I,149.50. " :SON COUNTY FAIR Four State Livestock Sales, Inc., acquired Katie Dailey's market steer at the auction price of $1,325.50. Jamie Cogle's market steer $1,775.19 to Thomassen Ford-M Plymouth. Southern States of Charles Town hid and purchased Nicole Ott's Jefferson SecurityBank, Charles Town, purchased BillyCogle's steer for $1,205.54. .'T r- COUNTY FAIR , / Cesarina Wyson's market steer was for $1,356.00 at auction by the Locke Wyson's market steer brought $1,508.87, purchased by Guy's Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and GMC Truck dealer. The Bank of harles Town was high bidder at $1,269.29 for Michael Phenneger's market steer. SandyWlley's market steer was worth $1,881.90 to William H. Hazel Company, Virginia Trap Rock, and Tri-County Asphalt. J c0umv Jason Magaha's market steer brought $I,426.80, the bid of Thomassen Auto Mart in Charles Town. D.L. Morgan Excavating and Jefferson Phar- macy combined to pay $1,236.90 for James Ott's market steer. | Tri-County Rentals bid high. $1.878.40, for Jim Wysoug's market steer. The Ponderosa of Charles Town paid to Chris Ott for his market Donna Dawson's market steer $1,444.80 to the high bidder to Dr. L.ll. Guy's Buick, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and GMC Truck dealer paid $I,260.26 for Michael Sine's market steer. Peoples Bank of Charles Town was the high bidder, at $I,592.50, for Brian Everhart's market steer. Steve Stolipher's market steer was auctioned to Farmers Livestock Exchange for $1.503.36. Henry's Country Inn, $I,529.15 to Randy Whittington for steer.
