Jimmy Gray of Meodow Brooke Farm returned to his home Sat- urday night after spending a week with his uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. OUie Zombro near Charles Town. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jacobs Ranson, two grandchildren Tom- my and Susan, children of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Jacobs of Phil- adelphia, Pa. and their great nie- day resulting in a deep wound on the right arm which required four clamps. Mr .and Mrs. Reinhart John son and two daughters Cheri and Jacque of Front Royal, Va. were callers Sunday afternoon with his brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smallwood. The lat ter is indisposed with a badly sprained right ankle due to a fall late Thursday night follow- ing closing of their store for the day. Her neighbors are proving themselves to be the neighbors in name and deed and for this she is deeply grateful. Mrs. Maude R. Clipp is serious- ly ill at the home of her law and daughter Mr .and Mrs. Willard Clipp. The following members of her immediate fam- ily came to visit with her over the weekend; Mr. and Mrs. Tho- mas P. Jenkins, Ransom Boyd R. Clipp, Washington, D. C., Myrtle Furr, her son-in-law and daugh- ter~ Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Watson of Halltown. Our best wishes are extended to Mrs. Clipp during her recent illness. Mrs. Burwell S. Ware and dau ghter Becky of Woodbyrne Farm are visiting the formers mother Mrs. G. P. Donovan and other re latives in Ronceverte. Mrs. Ware office secretary to Dr. John L. Van Metre, Charles Town is on her vacatiorl. The school age youngsters are beginning to rea lize that time is getting short prior to the ringing of that cer- tain bell and the planned visits must be completed by then. Charles W. Dillow MS-, Mrs. Dillow and their adopted twin sons Chris and Curtis have re- turned from Germany where he has been stationed and are visit ing hls brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Lester Dillow and family. Charles is scheduled to go in the near future to the Aug usta Military Academy where he will be an instructor in Military Courses. Charles called upon Mrs. Smallwood, his first school teach er who was very glad to see him. Jane Rissler of near Wheat. land has been a recent visitor with her cousin Dianne Rissler. During their vacation Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Seal and children Chubby, Debbie and Pat Visited with Mr. Gilbert Hausenfluck of Roanoke, Va. Eddie is an employ ee of Valley Board Corp., Hall- town. Mrs. James B. Kemp, who has been residing with her sister Mrs. G. K. Wysong, Charles Town sin ce the death of her husband, the late Mr. J. B. Kemp, has spent several days at her home in the community. She plans on the near future to make her home with her son and daughter-in. law Mr. and Mrs. J. Battaile Kemp, Rochester, N. Y.
