The funeral was held Tuesday with friends and relatives meeting a,t Vhe home in Pikeside at 1:30 p. m. (DST) and going to the Pike- side EUB Church for a service at 2, p. m. (DST) conducted by the Rev. Robert Moales and Vhe Rev. Lee Shaeffer. Burial was in M.t. Hebron Cem- etery. ~- .... MRS. BENNETT B KISNER ,Mrs. ]:bose Anna Kisner, widow of Bennet, t Burr Kisner, died at 8 a. m. last Friday at t~he hoone (ff a son-in-,law and daugh`ter, Mr. a;'ld Mrs. Robel~t O. Widmyer, 827 Sou`t:h Raleigh street in ,Martins- burg wf~er an illness of two days. She had resided in Jefferson County most of her life. 'Born on Oec. 9, 1873, in Clarke County, Va., she~ was a daughter of Vhe laite James and Naomi Cloud Landers. Her husband died 11 years ago. S~e was a member of St. Luke's E. U. B. Chur'(~h. Surv~ving are a son, David B. I~sner, 91, Forter Avenue, Mar~ins Women of Moose Hold Chapter Hight Program Charles Town Chapter nu,mber 1028 of the Women of the Moose held 't,heir Officers Chapter Nigh Progra~m at the Moose Home Tues day, August 11. The meeting was called to or- der by Senior Regent, Mrs. [Ma.m- ie Lancaster a 8 o'clock. One new member was enrolled in`to ,the de- fending circle. Mrs. Gertrude Prain has been invited and plans `to aJttend the Sponsor's Luncheon f,o be ,held at the Interna`tional Conference of the Women of the Moose in Pi,t~ts- burgh, Pa. on Tuesday, August 18 a:t the Pick-Roosevelt Hotel. iMrs. Prain, sponsored five candida`tes the past fi.~cal year which gives :her ;the ~h~nor of a~tending this Luncheon. It was approved to send a dona tion to the C:i,tizens Fire Company. 'Mrs. Charletta Benner, having a birt!hd,ay in August was preseffted with a g if, t. The meeting was adjourned the Chapter to mee`t again Augus`t 25 at 8 o'clock. A,f~ter :the meeting t~here was a social hour and re- freshmen`ts of chicken salad, pot,a to eh~.ps, pickle% olives and salted nuts were served.
