It was their son Glenn's birthday and Mrs. Ambrose, their daughter Dorrene of Washington was home for the weekend. We really en- joyed the nice supper. Mrs. Edith Welty of Shenan- doah Junction, Mr. and Mrs. John Welty and family of Waynesboro, Pa. spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Welty and sons and Mrs. Ruth Clegg. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Zombro and daughter of Falls Church, Va. spent the wekend with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gageby and daughter. Mrs. Clara Dunn and Mr. Graf- ton Liskey of near Inwood visited Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Ambrose Sun day. We went to John's Diner in Maryland for dinner which we enjoyed very much. I am glad he has bought property here in W. Va. beyond Rippon and expects to open a diner there in the near future. He will still maintain the one where he is now.
