Ill I tl tl I GENU NE FR ENDLINESS WARM CORD ALl Y Auxiliary The annual report of tile Wom en's Auxiliary, Charles Town tIos pital covering a period from Mar ch 1, 1960 to March 1, 1961 dis- closed that a total of $2,732.68 was spent on hospital equipment $1698.93 of which was provided by the Memorial Fund. One dictagraph Paging System, costing $978.25; One Thermatic drainage pump costing $175 and ens. THURSDAY APRIL 20; -. The Auxiliary sponsored An. one Beckman Ptt Blood System costing $545.68 were the items purchased with Memorial Fund monies. The Auxiliary General treasury fund provided such items as 500 Hollister Birth Certificates at a cost of $81; also 500 Identa-Bands $120; Equipment for Examining Room $202.75; Curbing around vis itors parking lot and Circle $130.; nual Donation Day and the June Jamboree-both fundiraksing en- deavors; observed National tIos- pital Week by giving a dinner at the hospital for the board mem- bers administration staff, doctors and their guests in appreciation of services rendered. Past Presi- dents of the Auxiliary were hon- ored and presented pins. Mending of linens at the hos- pital was done by Church organ- izations, Civic cIubs and various other organizations through the efforts of the Auxiliary. Fruit and Fruit Cakes were given to the Staff and personnel at Christmas. The Auxiliary is a member of the American National ltospital Association as well as the West Virginia State )lospi(al Associat- ion. The report was given by Auxil- iary president, Mrs. John Martin. Commissions are not paid on arguments won, but on sales made. Nobody ever gets anything for nothing but a lot of people keep trying. THE MELVIN T.
