32 Girls To Vie For "Miss Harpers Ferry" Crown In Revue April 20 A total of 32 lovely girls are regislered as cor~testants for the 12 CLarm Revue to be held Saturday night April 20, at 7:30 P. M. in lhe tlarpers Ferry tligh School auditorium. The revue is ~staged annually by the tlarpers Ferry Band Boo~ters to elect the young lady io reign as "Miss Harper's FerrT". Domingo Co will pre- sent a musics4 meditation on "A Life to Give" for his Easter ser- mon Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at ~Will~ams Memorial Methodist Church here. Communion Service There will be a charge-wide Communion Service a.t Uvilla. This is a ~adi~ional service on Holy Thursday throughout the Charge. Friday there will he a prayer vigil at Williams Memorial Church here from 3 to 6 and the past~)r would like to have ~)me in ~he church during the wh(~le pe- riod, in 15 minute intervals. In (~ther words, you would be asked to :be in church for 15 mintrtes in prayer and med,itation. There will be a like vigil of prayer at Bethel Church in Bakerton from 7 until 10. Hofstetter Report To Be Discussed April 16 At Rippon Meeting Mr. tIeflebower, Chair man of the Citizen's Advisory Council on Education for the Rip pon District announced today ,that a pt~blic meeting will .be held in the Rippon Elementary School on Tuesday, April 16th at 7:30 P. M. to discuss the future of education in Jefferson Coun,ty as related to the Hofstetter Report.
