James D. Hobbs, owner and officer of Spectrum, stated that several out-of-state owners of the Caverns and Campgrounds have decided to sell due to mismanagement of the property and the inability of the owners to make their expected profit. Several weeks ago, a portion of the wooden roof over the underground caverns' largest room collapsed under the weight of the snow and has caused an estimated $25,000 damage.
