Dulcimer Fest in Harpers Ferry
A three day program of the Upper Potomac March Dulcimer
Fesst will be held Friday, March 18 through Sunday, March 20
at the Hilltop House Hotel in Harpers Ferry. The event gives stu-
dents an opportunity to share tunes and techniques and to learn
from some of the finest teachers available on the hammered dulci-
mer and other instruments.
Classes will be presented throughout the days of the event and
concerts and jam sessions will take place as well. On Saturday,
there will be a showcase concert at Harpers Ferry Middle School
with Ensemble Tympanon and Magical Strings, at 8 p.m. All eve-
ning events are open to the public.
