' Visit and arranging for ho- The 4-H Clubs have pioneered many improvements in farming and homemaking in Jefferson County but no less important is the character building that re- sults from membership and active participation in 4-H Club work. Many former 4-H Club mem. bers now hold prominent places in agriculture and other walks of life. Parents often ask many ques. tions about 4-H Club work. What is 4-H? Who can belong? Where to join? What do members do? What is expected of parents? What is 4-H? 4-H is a youth pro gram based on needs and inter- ests of boys and girls. It is an ed ucational activity where members LEARN BY DOING. Who can belong? Any boy or girl between the ages of 10 and 21 years may join. The club year begins in October.
