Will Be One of Featured Lecturers For Garden Club Meeting at White Sulphur .... : • : Mrs. John W. Knight, Jr. Mrs. John W. Knight Jr. of Cuyahago Falls, Ohio well known flower show judge and winner of the Jackson & Perkirxs Silver Tro t~hy-a $5000 sterling silver bowl for the best arrangemen¢ of roses submitted by a select group of arrangers throughout the coun- t~ry, will be one of the highlights at ,the West Virginia State Garden Club Annual Meeting ,to be held at the Greenbrier, White Sulphur l~pring, March 29-April 1. She has lectured many times to West Virginia gardeners and was a speaker at the 1958 state garden club convention in Parkersburg. Mrs. Knight's theme will be "Let's Correlate Table Appoin, tments" and she will present this interest- lng topic following the dinner Mon day night, March 30. Mrs. Knight will display combinations and ideas for tables wi'th various I cloths mats, china and crystal. Lovely arrangements, for differ- ent occasions and settings will be made during her program and they will be on display throughout the remainder of the convention. At present, Mrs. Knight is pres ldent of the Ohio Council of Nat tonally Accredited Flower Show Judges, state flower show chair- man ~or ,the Garden Club of Ohio. She is a popular instructor in l~iowcr Arran?:cn~cn~= ~nd C_2hri:£- mas Decorations. Mrs. Knight has served as president of the Flower Artist~ of Ohio, president of Cuy ha:;o View Garden Club, regional judge for the Purple Ribbon Shows and has ~held office in many other garden club organizations.
