These vacancies are available to any City of Charles Town resident wishing to serve their community. The Board manages and maintains an extensive water and sanitary sewer system serving the greater Charles Town region. The Board has full and complete authority for the supervision, management, control, and operation of the system, including the main- tenance, operations, improvements and extensions thereof. Meetings of the Board are typically held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 8:30 am but could be moved to 4:00 pm to accommodate the new members. Meetings are generally held at 832 S. George Street, Charles Town. Chosen candidates will serve one of two terms: an unexpired term commencing from the time of appointment until December 31,2020 or a full term commencing from the time of appointment until December 31,2021.
